The team were called by both North Yorkshire Police and Yorkshire Ambulance Service to a walker (f,52) who had fallen on the path up Gragareth sustaining an injury to her ankle.
As the team were on route we heard from our colleagues at Yorkshire Air Ambulance that they had landed near to the casualty and were assessing her, but would require assistance to carry her to the helicopter. Team members continued up the hill to meet the YAA Doctor and Paramedic, where they loaded the casualty on to our stretcher and carried her the short distance to the waiting helicopter for onward transport to hospital.
We would like to thank the crew of Helimed 98 for their assistance and wish the casualty a speedy recovery.
