A farmer asked whether CRO might rescue a ewe and a lamb from a shake-hole between Brackenbottom and Larch Tree Hole. Three members attended and rescued them both, unharmed, from 3m down in a rock rift. 8 volunteer hours.

A local farmer reported that one of his sheep and her two lambs were stuck on a ledge at the former quarry at Meal Bank, near Ingleton. Walkers reported that a lamb was stranded, several metres down the quarry face. As it was on a broad ledge with an ample supply of grass, it was agreed that a small team would visit in the early evening.
