A walker on an evening excursion from Settle to Ribblehead became lost after descending from the summit of Pen-y-ghent. Incident 89/2017 – Dec. 23rd Sat. 15.55 – Ingleborough, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue

CRO team members braved darkness and dense fog, in wet and very windy conditions, when they sought to locate and assist a 3-peaks walker (m 33), who had reported himself lost on Ingleborough. Incident 80/2016 – Sep. 17th Sat. 22.46 – Whernside, Cumbria – Mountain Rescue.

A party of 5 young people (m x 3, f x 2), reported themselves lost, to their expedition support adult leader, whilst descending from the summit of Whernside to Deepdale, near Dent. This was just as CRO were returning from incident number 79.
