Incident 90/2016 – Nov. 7th Mon. 13.49 – White Shaw, Deepdale, Cumbria – Mountain Rescue.

A walker (m, 65) slipped on a steep, wet, grassy slope, while descending towards Deepdale Head, sustaining a suspected ankle fracture. In the first sleet of the Autumn, he was given pain relief and his injury was immobilised, before he was carried, by stretcher, to a NWAS ambulance, waiting on the Deepdale road.
