A runner (M) competing in the 3 peaks fell race went missing after summiting Ingleborough in 11/12th place, concern was raised as he hadn’t arrived back in Horton within the expected time period and no sign of him on the descent. A small team were tasked to head up to Trow Gill and start a search from there. Whilst another team started to assemble at Horton, to search up towards the summit. As the assembled teams were just about to leave the depot and Horton, the runner turned up safe and well having taken the “scenic route” via Gaping Gill
