The team were contacted by North Yorkshire Police to assist in the search for a high risk missing person, who it was believed may have headed into the local hills. Two team members went to liaise with the police officer on scene, whilst others went to collect a team vehicle. Just as the vehicle was leaving our Depot, and before a callout to the full team was sent out, police officers located the individual concerned heading for a nearby fell. Consequently the team were stood down.
