Twenty-five Cubs and their leaders, from Ingleton Cub Scout Pack, enjoyed a tour of the CRO Base, at Clapham, on Tuesday evening.
They saw the team’s equipment, vehicles and control room, then heard about the varied role that CRO plays in going to the aid of local people and active visitors. After a quick drink, they followed Search Dog Glen and Future Search Dog Angus to Clapham Car Park, where the Border Collies demonstrated how they find missing people – in spite of noisy and enthusiastic ‘support’ from their audience!
