Whilst Incident 66 was still in progress, another call was received from North Yorkshire Police, reporting a walker doing the three peaks overdue. The reporting person was concerned that the lone walker (f,33) was an hour and a half overdue at Horton in Ribblesdale. Aug. 1st Mon. 15.27 – Ribblehead, Ingleton, North Yorkshire – Alert only.

Yorkshire Ambulance Service requested assistance, following a report of a man ‘passed out under Ribblehead Viaduct’. No sooner had the CRO duty controller advised YAS control that a road ambulance could drive to the viaduct than CRO was stood down.
