YAS called CRO after a walker (f, 53) fell and sustained a shoulder injury on the path from Gordale Bridge to the Malham Rakes road. However, it was then decided that she was close enough to the road for an ambulance crew to deal with, so the team was stood down.
Then, at 12.16, the YAS paramedics having discovered that the casualty was in too much pain just to be walked to the road ambulance, the team was called again. A small group of team members went to the site, helped the YAS personnel ease the casualty on to a team stretcher and carried her to the ambulance, parked on the Malham Rakes road. The team was then able to stand down.
