The team were contacted by North Yorkshire Police after a walker who had just completed the three peaks raised concerns about a party of 2 walkers she had passed some time earlier as appearing to be making slow progress from the summit of Ingleborough towards Horton in Ribblesdale as night was falling. After speaking to the reporting person, a CRO DC local to Horton checked the car parks for vehicles and had a scan around the foothills of Ingleborough with a thermal imaging device. On finding no signs of a vehicle, or walkers on the lower slopes, the decision was made to close the incident.
