An adult accompanying a school group visit to Long Churn Caves was reported to be having difficulty breathing just as the group had arrived at the cave entrance. CRO team members administered oxygen to aid the women’s breathing and after assessing her medical condition concluded that she was sufficiently stable to be transported down to the road whilst seated in a CRO vehicle. She was then transferred to the care of a team from Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
