A party of three men contacted North Yorkshire Police to say that one of their team had become stuck fast in a bog on the Gragareth ridge, above Kingsdale. CRO despatched a small team to investigate. A visitor called the police, saying that his wife was feeling dizzy and sick on the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail and needed mountain rescue. INCIDENT 29/2023 MAY 2nd TUE. 16.42 HUMPHREY BOTTOM, INGLEBOROUGH, INGLETON, NORTH YORKSHIRE. MOUNTAIN INCIDENT

A three peaks walker (m, 59) collapsed on the steep path onto Ingleborough at Humphrey Bottom. Almost immediately, his wife began CPR and this was continued by paramedics from the North West Air Ambulance, when they arrived. The first CRO members on scene found that paramedics from a YAS road ambulance were also in attendance.
