A walker (f, 40s) slipped on the limestone pavement at the top of Malham Cove immediately above the steps, injuring a wrist and a leg. The first member on scene began assessing her and was soon joined by YAS paramedics from the Air Ambulance who diagnosed a wrist fracture, which they splinted. A walker (m, 73) missed his footing on the edge of the limestone pavement at the top of Malham Cove, hitting his head on the rock and suffering lower leg and wrist abrasions.
