Incident 31/2018 – May 29th Tue. 13.22 Little Ingleborough, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue

A male walker began to suffer chest pain and dizziness whilst ascending Little Ingleborough, beyond Gaping Gill. The team were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service, and a vehicle was immediately dispatched from our base in Clapham, fortunately staffed following a meeting that morning. Meanwhile, team members attending the Gaping Gill Winch Meet, together with trained members of Bradford Pothole Club, were able to quickly reach the casualty and begin casualty…

Incident 71/2017 – Sep. 12th Tue. 11.32 – White Scar Cave, Ingleton, North Yorkshire – Cave Rescue.

A visitor (m,65) collapsed with chest pains, just over half-way along the show cave. After monitoring and treatment by paramedics from Yorkshire Ambulance Service and North West Air Ambulance, he was packaged by CRO members, then carried, by stretcher to the road ambulance outside.
