Incident 63/2017 – Aug. 27th Sun. 14.53 – Baxenghyll Gorge, Ingleton, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue.

A walker (f,56) slipped on the path, sustaining an ankle / foot injury. After giving pain relief and applying a vacuum splint, team members carried her, by stretcher, up to Beezleys, where YAS paramedics assessed her injury. She was put into a road ambulance, which took her to the family car, in Ingleton. Her family then took her to a hospital nearer home, for an X-ray.
