CRO were called to support Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association (UWFRA) with an ongoing incident. Two cavers had been reported overdue the previous evening from a traverse of Dowber Gill passage that links Dow Cave with Providence Pot. The overdue party were found a long way into the cave by UWFRA cavers. They were safe but cold and tired and faced a long and in places arduous journey to the cave exit. Five CRO cavers were able to provide assistance in bringing the overdue party to the surface.
