Incident 19/2018 – Apr. 20th Fri. 16.02 Gordale Scar, Malham, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue

A walker (f, 42) slipped on wet rocks at the beck edge, between the two waterfalls in Gordale Scar, sustaining a painful shoulder injury. Having been given pain relief and with her shoulder immobilised, the patient was able to walk up to the top of the Scar with assistance and encouragement from team members. She was helped into the waiting air ambulance for the flight to hospital.               Volunteer hours: 34
