Team Members Fundraising Effort

Three of our members – Graham, Heather and Andy- are taking part in the Spine MRT Challenge event in January. 108 miles along the Pennines with over 18,500 feet of ascent, non-stop in winter conditions. Helicopter practice on Sunday

‘Thank you’ to the crew of G-MCGH, one of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency’s Sikorsky S92 helicopters, based at Humberside Airport, for flying over to Ribblehead, on Sunday. All members of search and rescue teams must follow a basic training regime, before being allowed to work with the helicopters on a live incident. Sep. 3rd Sat. 19.21 – Ingleborough, North Yorkshire – Alert only.

A Three Peaks walker was reported to be struggling and in pain, descending from Sulber Nick. While a companion called for help, a CRO controller, who was supporting another walking group in his professional capacity, walked up to meet him.
