POLICE SAY ‘THANK YOU’ TO NORTH YORKSHIRE RESCUE TEAMS

North Yorkshire Police said ‘Thank you!’ to the six voluntary search and rescue teams which cover the county at a presentation, yesterday evening. Assistant Chief Constable Elliot Foskett expressed appreciation to representatives of the teams for their efforts, on behalf of the Force, in saving lives and keeping people safe during the past two difficult years.

A walker (f, 54) slipped and heard a loud crack from her ankle while walking the return path of the Waterfalls Trail through the Baxengill Gorge, Ingleton. Her husband reported the suspected ankle fracture to North Yorkshire Police, who called CRO.
