The Team were called by North Yorkshire Police to assist a walker (F, 40) who had slipped whilst descending Little Ingleborough. The casualty had sustained a painful lower leg injury and was unable to continue her walk down. The team were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with a medical incident involving a young infant (F, 7 months) in Horton-in-Ribblesdale village, the family having been out walking locally. Local team members were despatched and a vehicle deployed from the the Team Depot in Clapham. On arrival of members at the scene the child, now apparently well, was being attended to by YAS paramedics in an ambulance.…

Four cavers were reported overdue on a through trip from Lancaster Hole to Wretched Rabbit, beneath Casterton Fell, having set off at noon. Four members of the Red Rose C&PC, resident at Bull Pot Farm, went to Wretched Rabbit and began searching from that end of the visiting cavers’ anticipated route.
